Treatment modalities depend on:
The stage of the disease
The overall health of the patient.
Treatment modalities

Surgery
Primary mode of treatment
Involves total hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy)

Adjuvant treatment
Surgery may be supplemented with radiotherapy, hormone therapy, and/or chemotherapy in patients with metastatic or recurrent disease.

Radiotherapy
Indications:
Prior to surgery to shrink tumors
After surgery to destroy remaining cancer cells.
Patients who are unable to undergo surgery.

Hormone Therapy: Progesterone pills
Indications:
Metastatic or recurrent endometrial cancer.
Patients unable to undergo surgery or radiation.

Chemotherapy
May be used in addition to surgery to treat metastatic endometrial cancer and to prevent recurrent disease. Drugs used to treat endometrial cancer: Carboplatin, Cisplatin, Doxorubicin, Cyclophosphamide, Paclitaxel.
