Introduction

The Bartholin’s gland is a pea-sized gland located on the lower aspect of the vulva, responsible for secreting mucus, which
serves as lubricant during sexual intercourse. Bartholin glands are generally not palpable when patent.

Bartholin cyst refers to fluid filled swelling of the Bartholin glands.
