Hot Sitz bath is done to promote blood, circulation, drainage and healing of the cyst.

Analgesics are taken in case of pain and discomfort.

Oral antibiotics for infected cysts.

Word Catheter
an incision is made into the cyst or abscess, and a catheter is inserted. The tip is inflated with 2-3ml of saline. It is left in place for 4-6 weeks to allow epithelization of the surgically created tract. This technique is not suitable for deep cysts or abscesses.

Marsupialization
The cyst is cut open, then skin around it is stitched the skin to form a small pouch. This lets the fluid drain out. The area will be packed with special gauze to soak up the fluid and any blood.
