Introduction

It is a non malignant enlargement of prostate gland which commonly results into bladder outlet obstruction(BOO). Benign prostate enlargement is a clinical diagnosis while after histopathological confirmation the diagnosis changes to Benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH).
