Investigations and evaluation

When labour is diagnosed, the following important initiatives can be done:

Proper monitoring of labour by using patograph.

Obstetric USS to confirm gestational age, fetal viability and to rule out obvious fetal anomalies.

Hb level.

Blood grouping and cross matching.
