These are subjective features providing a possibility of pregnancy, however, they don’t exclude other diagnoses. They include:
Amenorrhoea
Nausea and Vomiting especially between most 2nd to12th weeks’ gestation.
Breast and nipple tenderness more likely in 1st trimester
Marked fatigue more likely in 3rd trimesters
Urinary frequency (1st and 3rd trimesters)
Fetal movements, this involves Quickening which is the first perception of foetal movement occuring in Prime gravida at 18th-20th week of gestation and in multigravidas between 16th -18th week of gestation.
Increased basal body temperature
Chloasma gravidarum (the mask of pregnancy),darkening of skin over the forehead, bridge of the nose or cheekbones.
