Glucose torelance test
In which 50g of glucose is given orally to the patient and after an hour glucose test is done. If the values are greater than 140mg/dL, a confirmatory test is done where by 100g of glucose is given to the patient then blood glucose monitoring is done, and If it is over 180 mg/dL for the first hour, over more than155 mg/dL for the second hour, and more than 140 mg/dL for the third hour a diagnosis of GDM is established.
