Clinical features

Clinical presentation of hypertensive retinopathy depends on the degree of severity. It is asymptomatic in its early stages ,however, it can present with serious ocular manifestations late in the disease.

The following are some of its clinical features:

Eye pain

Headache

Reduced visual acuity

Evidence of elevated blood pressure.
