FBP

Blood grouping and cross matching.

Plain abdominal X ray which will reveal dilated bowel loops with or without the presence of fluid levels.

Abdominal Ultrasound. It will reveal dilated bowel loops.

Abdominal CT scan can be used to find the cause of obstruction.
