Treatment

Resuscitate the patient based on primary survey findings. For instance:

• Perform suction in case of air way blockage (by mucus or blood clots)
• Secure the air ways and give Oxygen therapy in case of respiratory distress.
• Give IV fluid in case of hypovolemic shock, dehydration.
• Give Blood transfusion in case of intra abdominal hemorrhage or severe anaemia.

Analgesics

Definitive treatment is directed to the elimination of the specific cause.
