Blood transfusion based on estimated blood loss.

IV fluids based on estimated fluid loss.

Definitive treatment is Emergency Splenectomy. However conservative treatment may be considered in Haemodynamically stable patients with grade 1–3 injuries without active extravasation.

Indications of splenectomy

Hemodynamic instability

Peritonitis

Pseudoaneurysm formation

Associated intra-abdominal injuries.
