Treatment
Expose the child
Short febrile seizures of less than 5 minutesĀ do notĀ need any specific treatment.
For seizures give diazepam per rectal 0.5 mg/kg or 0.3 mg/kg IV.
For fever give paracetamol 15 mg/kg every 8 hours.
